Traffic Change at Limburg DC from 2 March

16.02.2026

Detour to the parking building and companies on the Bouwcampus

The access road to the parking building on the Bouwcampus will be relocated due to the start of the works for Bouwcampus 2.0 and excavation works for water, gas and electricity lines on the Limburg DC campus. From Monday 2 March, students, staff and visitors driving to the Bouwcampus via Agoralaan will need to follow an adjusted route.

Adjusted access
In March, the preparatory works for the construction of Bouwcampus 2.0 will begin. This includes the relocation of water, gas and electricity lines. As a result, students, staff and visitors wishing to reach the parking building and the companies on the Bouwcampus via Agoralaan will no longer be able to drive over the small bridge across the Miezerikbeek from Monday 2 March. They will have to turn right before the bridge and follow a clearly signposted diversion route indicated by digital signs. This diversion is not temporary but already forms part of the new access road.

Despite the change, both the Bouwcampus and the parking building will remain easily accessible. Only the traffic situation for cars will change. For pedestrians and cyclists, the impact will be limited. Only from April onwards will they also need to follow an alternative route due to major construction works. During the works, safe connections for cyclists and pedestrians will remain available.

The adjusted routes are clearly shown on the map below.
