Key 2 Circularity
The circular economy is a European priority (EU Green Deal, Circular Flanders, etc.), but small and medium-sized manufacturing companies often lack the necessary resources, skills or partners to take action.
The Interreg Meuse-Rhine Key 2 Circularity project addresses this challenge by offering multidimensional support to transform products, processes and economic models.
Objectives
The Key 2 Circularity (K2C) project aims to help companies use raw materials more efficiently, extend the life of products and recycle them properly. In this way, companies not only contribute to a better environment, but also make themselves more resilient, innovative and less dependent on scarce materials.
Activities
The project offers companies support in three ways to grow step by step in a more sustainable and future-proof manner with knowledge, collaboration and financial support.
In a first step, the project partners connect companies across national borders to discover new circular opportunities together. In addition, forty companies can benefit from practical, personalised guidance from experts who will work with them to implement circular strategies in their businesses. Finally, 32 companies will also be able to apply for a voucher that encourages investment in circular solutions.
