Limburg as an extended gateway

Limburg forms the natural geographical link between the sea ports (Antwerp, Zeebrugge, Ghent, and Rotterdam), some of Europe’s largest freight airports in the region (Brussels, Liège, and Luxembourg) and the heart of the European consumer market.

To further connect our province’s manufacturing and logistics companies with the rest of the world, POM Limburg supports initiatives that strengthen Limburg’s connectivity. To do so, we focus on both digital and physical multimodal infrastructure. The objective: to make goods and associated data the foundation for an integrated logistics network and a genuine sea-air interface region. To achieve this, we are working with important stakeholders like the Port of Antwerp, Brucargo and Aéroport de Liège.
